Solana is a student at NYU Steinhardt in the Accelerated BS/MA Program in Applied Psychology and Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness, where she also serves as Co-Chair of the BS/MA Consortium. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, she is the eldest of five siblings. Solana is deeply passionate about mental health and inspired by the range of perspectives and treatment modalities offered by Embodied Mind. She is eager to learn from the team and apply these experiences to her future clinical practice. She brings extensive professional experience working with youth in both school and community settings, as well as expertise in managing social media for various social justice initiatives. As our Social Engagement/Administrative Intern, she’s excited to contribute her strong organizational skills, as well as her passion for community-building and psychoeducation. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, practicing yoga, and making jewelry for her friends.
