Professional Supervision

Our licensed therapists are available to provide clinical supervision to professionals in the mental health field.  Each clinician has specific areas of focus and theoretical orientations from which they work. 

 Areas of clinical supervision may include:

 Internships

Embodied Mind NYC offers students pursuing a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling a comprehensive, trauma informed,  600 hour clinical internship.  Based on a developmental, integrative, and experiential training model, the clinical internship position equips Mental Health Counseling students to cultivate and develop their professional identity, administrative prowess, and clinical diligence.  Interns work as clinicians and are integral members of the treatment team. Individual and group supervision, weekly in service trainings, and community engagement are all components to training.

Externships

Embodied Mind NYC also offers post-graduate, trauma-informed, clinical externship positions to those professionals pursuing professional licensure. Individual, group, and family counseling, weekly individual and group supervision, mentoring of interns, and weekly in-service training are all integral components of the externship positions.
